As the topic suggests, is there a way to remove fine scratches on anodized aluminum? I have tried using toothpaste but the effect is not desirable.

How about vitalsol? Heard that it can remove scratches. Has anyone tried before?

yes usually use to wax car

But rubbing compound is corrosive. Will it remove the original brushed texture of the anodized aluminum?

4000 grit sand paper will give good result... if you cant handle brasso or autosol very well u can go for toothpaste.

As i have stated before, toothpaste doesn't work. I'll try to vitasol this weekend. Will post up the result if it's effective.

Ok, just tried vitasol, and it works!!! Scratches are gone now.
However, a piece of advice, don't rub too many times if not the anodized layer will be eroded.
