Here you go smile.gif

Yes, she's certified. I got her from a breeder but she was the last batch. He's now retired. You could opt for importing one in. smile.gif

Added on April 9, 2010, 3:55 pmYeah, I agree with antichrist.
Famous means you follow the trend of what other people like? I don't think it should be that way.

Silly me, forgot to share the collie in my life, my bf's sheltie Ozzy:

user posted image

Hard to get full length shots of him because he loves human attention so much he'll start drifting towards the camera the moment he sees me tongue.gif He has like, zero herding instinct lol, prolly one of the most inactive and docile collies you will ever find hahaha.

That's actually a good thing, she prolly finished teething and doesn't feel such a strong need to chew anymore. I'm waiting for the glorious day this happens for my very chew-happy lab pup =o=;; Nice pic of your dogs, I really like seeing them together. Can really tell your golden is enjoying having a companion smile.gif

I'm asking Toki where she get her rough collie as I've been trying to find good breeder of this breed.
and I'm not saying that ppl buy sheltie because the breed is more famous than rough collie as I've seen some sheltie's owner and hardly seen any rough collie owner. Or if you're talking bout me, I'm actually intend to find nice rough collie with cert as I need the cert to import them back to my hometown if I need to go back for good. So, I've prefer puppy with cert thou their price is higher and I might need to cert in the future smile.gif

btw, Toki, how old is ur collie?

Would you believe I use a humble point and shoot (Canon Ixus 900TI)? I post-process my photos in Photoshop if any enhancements are needed smile.gif Hoping to get a Lumix LX3 eventually as it's the one of the few high end compact cameras capable of producing images approaching DSLR-quality (can't beat a DSLR cam but I don't fancy carrying a bulky and heavy camera around tongue.gif).

The sheltie lives with my bf, at my home I have 4 dogs. The 2 boys are my own - 4-5 yr old rescued mutt that's probably some sort of hound mix and a 9 month old labrador. The 2 girls are foster cases - 8 month old beagle I rescued from a bad breeder and an old spitz (looks like a purebred American Eskimo) that was found wandering in Subang that was handed over to Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better. Never a dull moment in my house ^^

Thanks, Ozzy does look rather decent for an 8 year-old smile.gif Collies are like a group of dogs, if that makes any sense? Just like how beagles are classified under the hound group and pomeranians are considered a type of spitz. You can read about the breeds classed under the collie group here, there are so many I can't remember lol.

I was considering the Canon G10 (was between that and the LX3) but prefer the LX3 cos it's more compact (teruk or not haha, choose based on size). Do you post-process pics from your DSLR or do the pics come out that good looking originally? I really like the depth of colour in particular in your pics smile.gif

And thanks, I get a lot of joy from the dogs so caring for them is worth it smile.gif

She's now almost 1 and a half years old. smile.gif Where is your hometown if I may ask? I'll help you keep an eye out if there are any good puppies around. I have been searching for another Rough Collie but to no avail. Those that I have found don't come with MKA cert.
