hey everybody as you know gears 2,farcry 2,cod 5 are coming very soon, and i was wondering instead of forking rm200 each where can i go to get them cheaper like rm100 each or something like that

Well for one thing, Asian releases of Xbox360 games are rarely above RM 170 (unless you buy some kinda special edition). Secondly, pretty much all sellers sell at roughly the same price, so the only way you can get your games cheaper is to wait for some gamer to sell off their games.

i heard some games are sold cheaper like rm80 their not fake but...

Older games, used games? I'd like to hear where you 'heard' this...

no its true i think just ask around,which is what i doing,either way i'm still buying gears 2 day one release rm200 or rm2000,just for other games its good to know if their cheaper

My friend, most of us in the xbox forum have been around for at least 2 years - and all of us want cheaper games. If you have been asking around then you'll know that trusted shops like Gamers Hideout, Gamer Solution and SmartChoice Enterprise all follow a standard pricing for games. Like I said, prepare to pay RM 160-180 for new games, and slightly less for USED games.

Be thankful you don't live in Europe. It's about 60 Euro a game there. x5 after the conversion rate.

I'm not sure about Xbox 360 games, but PC games in Thailand is dirt cheap like less than RM 100.
The bad thing is that their games are super localized even to the wordings. Some games don't even got much support after the initial release from the dev like patch etc.

Average annual UK income is around 24k pound. That's around 2000 pound per month.
1 console games is around 50 pound.

Average annual Malaysian income is around RM 24.5k. That's around RM 2000 per month.
1 Xbox 360 game is around RM 170.

Of course, given a direct pound to RM conversion, a single console game in UK would cost RM 300 according to today's conversion rate at x6.

The cheap new copy you've heard are probably the titles marked with "Platinum Hit" . There are a few like Gears 1 , Assasin Creed and etc.

Well, it is always tempting to compare that way but it is not fair to compare income and the cost of game in two countries that way.

and i saw halo 3 korean on play-asia for RM68.
and i saw viva pinata se on play-asia for RM48
and i saw fifa 07 korean on play-asia for RM39.

Play 1 finish then sell then buy another 1 lar.

If you intend to keep, then wait for the game ppl sell here in 2nd hand then buy, or sell all your old game.

Games early release is exp, but as time goes, price will drop.
