yes a young and stronger crespo in the making icon_idea.gif
pairing him with anelka doesn't sound too bad..but i want to see how he does alone upfront.
83 kgs eh..wow. that's heavy weh. no wonder he can battle for most aerial balls!

Di Santo will be a good player in time, but not so sure if he will cut the mustard this season though. Also, the No 9 may be putting too much pressure on him.

Anelka is wasted as a lone striker, he's the type that needs to be complemented, or to complement. DD would be the perfect foil.

Anelka is best when it comes at small teams..pairing him with another stiker is a must but up till now..dont see any changes at the was we played upfront..kalou also sometimes best, sometimes just so..so..everage..not consistence..

lol relax madfag... i think everyone got the point d...but this is a cool insider also..biostats of players...

91kg, powerhouse...

Krovaxq

Weight : 78kg
Preferred role : Towel boy.

....its not that I dont fancy Di Santo, just that...is he up to it? Should we go for him to expose/experiment him @ BPL? We have powerhouse like Lampard n JCole to spice up the victory..but...strikers are....crucial man... a team like Chelsea should have a world class striker available (I know, whats wrong with youngsters) but, is it worth giving him exposures in important matches? (I take Hull as important)...maybe a full game of UCL once we already have the next stage qualified, thats where we can experiment >.<... just my opinion.

Chill la bro. Madfag doesn't mean to said that to condemn Di Santo or whatever. It just the look. To me also, Di Santo, looks thin compared to Drogs and Nic. The weight probably because of the height. And that's probably why he looks thin like Peter Crouch or something.

haha no wonder tongue.gif
hmm anelka needs a partner. maybe di santo can actually be paired with him..but like krovaxq said this may not be the best time to experiment.
however then we'll never be able to see his true potential icon_idea.gif
the no.9 does put some extra pressure i guess..and he's shown a willingness to fight for the team. not a lazy player by any means.

actually i think it would be okay to play di santo for the first 45 minutes or second 45 minutes. maybe a little change in formation so that the strikers can do more? since di santo is kinda tall and anelka can receive long balls. this cancels out what scolari said about us having short strikers.

or how about, for the 1st few next fixtures...

we play him at the 60th min? and under condition that we are leading within 70', sub out a midfielder and bring in Di Santo and observe...

or 1st 45 mins with him as our 1E, and bring in Kalou in the 2nd half? then we gradually repeat the process until he gets a clean and safe exposure for himself and for the squad? I dono..i jz think Kalou is best to be our super sub than of a 1E squad... maybe his 'spiritual' football kicks in at tense moment @ second half? hehe...

Malouda must be around when Di Santo plays, as he could get a nice cross from the left by Malouda, and right from Bosingwa, through-pass from Anelka,Lampard...well..when Joe Cole took over, let him langgar the goal post, sure goal de hehe.

My whole point is , to develop something new in our squad without affecting much on our consistency, and players' morale.

Say, tbh I don't really watch Di Santo at his top form..so..ur call...if :-

Anelka
-------
Shooting : 16
Positioning : 17
Speed : 15
Dribbling/Flair : 15
Consistency : 13
Heading : 12

Di Santo
--------

??

wah,i also thought ther was a really argument here..until i read all of the post,haha..

btw, must put di santo with another striker,so that can support him..he's still not reliable as Torres, but try to give him some time to develop.e

give Di Santo chances and im sure he will deliver. I think Malouda performances is not good enough for chelsea. Kalou better than him in all areas and i think Malouda should be offload in January
