EDIT: just got another pair of Brooks GTS 9 last weekend at the Curve pretty ok i would say RM 300 after 30% disc still the support is nothing compared to my Asics saving up money now to get another pair this year end gf complaining im buying more shoes than she is Thanks man. That's pretty informative........see you around... GTS9 and Hurrican10 are quite comparable. I like both of them. You grabbed GTS9 from Peter.

Brooks is at Curve (highest floor), BBT (Klang) and some Jusco outlets....GOto Curve....the unker there is quite helpful in giving advice...but of course, it's more accessible to chat with choi and phoenix over here.
I find Brooks pricing and Saucony are minimally different.....just gotta find one that suit you the best......

QUOTE(shahwan86 @ Jul 7 2009, 04:54 PM) I don't feel comfortable wearing shorts anymore while running.
Are there any good below knee length running pants? Tights? I heard from a guy running at a track once that it's not advisable to run wearing tights? Is that true?
You may be referring to compression pant/short. Hei, phoenix is bringing 2XU in but this brand is known as one of the premier brand/quality with commensurating pricing too..... Compression pant is long and sometime 3/4.....you may have to search for it......i think they are good for road and track.

QUOTE(d3vilzzzz @ Jul 7 2009, 05:57 PM) Compression tights and norm tights are used for diff reasons.. And the length of it isn't something you would judge it by.. I have never tried tights...I am using one UA compression short (as base layer). It's a good feel and hold your muscles/fats firmly to reduce unnecessarily movement, making the run more efficient and steady......

QUOTE(ccube @ Jul 10 2009, 12:33 PM) there are some good places to run. Near ur ofc u can goto Tmn. Bkt Jalil. if ard TTDI, can run at lembah kiara, either at the park or goto the forest reserve (but very hilly). over at Kepong will be Tmn Metropolitan (a 3.3k loop) will up and down terrain. if u like some trail + road running then heads towards FRIM. add on to this, there is a Batu Metropolitan Park (or sometime referred as Mastiara Metropolitan Park) that one can run....maybe about 3km plus or so....no rubberized track but it's a gated park.....kind of safe..........
