The status of Mac F The Movie I & II are definitely following the route of in-universe motion picture precedent as that of DYRL.

Macross DYRL, Macross Plus Movie Edition & Macross Frontier Movie I & II plus in-universe Mac F "Legend of Zero" are considered re-enactment movies in Macross universe. They followed the basic formula which is the Movie version still stick to the original premise, but make changes here & there with subtle differences as compared to original series.

after watching macross movie i now noe why ppl say Gundam 00 Awakening of trailblazer ending was a total rip off...

By the way, I kinda like the Kindan no Elixir opening more than the Universal Bunny opening of the first movie. She should have asked Hime to play the bridegroom instead of crossdressing herself.

sayonara tsubasa too many plot twist, first galaxy is enemy, then no, they got backstabbed, then no, they counter backstabbed, then kena counter-counter backstab, then counter-counter-counter backstab.......

too many people who get spaced managed to survived (feel sorry for tv micheal)

In fact all the dead toll in TV are brought alive in the movie (Megane-kun, The President, Manager w/Inplant) . While the two survived in TV got killed (Cyborg Brother and Three-Island-kun)

Don't really like the story for Sayonara no Tsubasa.

I actually skip the credit till the end hoping there is a short scene for Alto return but none......


I still like TV ver.

after watch it.feel that the last moment like macross zero and really same.this is not coincidence when shin release all armor and weapon happen in frontier movie.

Megane-kun = The Sniper
Most songs in Sayonara no Tsubasa are Megumi Nakajima Ranka's cute songs, while May'n Sheryl only has two hot and sexy solos that's Kindan no Elixir and dShootistarb. It's a fact: May'n sings way better than Megumi Nakajima.

Yeah, ranka song has nothing on Sheryl songs. Even in tv I only like 2 songs that are ranka... Ai, oboetemaska (technically minmei's song) and Aimo (technically vajra's song).

If you've watched the Budokan concert, you prolly will like Ranka's Iteza too.

at least in macross song they got the "power" in it

ranka's childish and cute theme vs sheryl's mature and drama theme does fit the macross world, I think.

for me, ranka >>> sheryl, so thank you hime sama for picking the latter, muahaha
