some more if d cooler can fit ya current mobo doesn't mean that it'll fit ya next...

w/ d amount of voltage ur runnin ya chip atm, i dun think u need to get d mosfets sinked. some other things are limitin ya oc... mind to tell all d configs??? 

have u tried:

1. lower d ram divider
2. up d v nb by a notch or 2
3. set d cpu configuration to auto/0 (forgot ledi, but it was d 1st option i used b4)

try not to play w/ acc 1st b4 u've tried everything. acc is more effective on b.e chips. if usin it is d last resort for higher clocks, i believe settin diff value for individual core will be more effective than settin one value for all cores. we all know cores won't behave d same, there're some better while some bein weaker. google around how to play w/ acc for individual core, it was quite tedious iirc... 

i never play w/ ta780g so i can't really comment. 690g is w/o phenom support while 780g supports up to 125w phenoms (thou i would personally advice not to do so > there're risk of burnin mosfets if oc'ed). can't see 780g doin as well as 690g in oc (but still ok imo), d latter proved to be one of d best am2 oc boards. 
u just need a cold boot mate, as simple as that. it worked all d time when i owned it. given d low price tag, one really can't complain much. 

bios version used? latest ine is not always d best. one more thing i noticed is, d best way to flash bios is via d integrated bios flash, but u can only use it to flash d official bios, 3rd party like those in rh is a no no... 

update ur vista to sp1 and u will see ur 4gb ram

Ok.. I can lower my HT Link and NB multiplier
But what did you mean by NB > HTT.. in terms of total Mhz?
What's the max I should be hitting to ensure stability?

I've reduced by CPU multiplier to 10.5
225 FSB x 10.5 = 2.362Ghz

HT and NB is running at about 1800Mhz.. but still can't really boot up
My vCore was Auto.. at 1.264v (not enuff juice? shd i crank it up?)
vDimm at 2.0v

Am I doing something wrong here?
Oh yah.. X4 9550 too...
