so far, i think incredible hulk is a great BD.

audio is awesome, surround and all...and the PQ is very vibrant and only a few scenes seem washed out a bit. but what's great though...is the black levels...just the right amount of darkness!

oh...and i didn't know that the 2 disc casino royale has a dolby trueHD now instead of the original PCM. must test later to see if it's better or not.

Yup, the audio and action scenes are awesome! Went to see this not so critically acclaimed movie three times in the cinemas just to enjoy the action and compare between a THX hall, a non-THX hall and then a THX hall again

talking bout audio...i think so far, in my collection, the only titles which have awesome enveloping sound are cloverfield and spiderman 2.

Another Bourne Sequel in the Works




Well we all saw The Bourne Ultimatum clean up in some of the more technical categories at the Oscars last night, and from all the stories of what a horrible and chaotic shoot the movie was, I think it’s pretty clear that they deserved to win the Film Editing award in particular. Although Matt Damon did say at one point that this would be the last time he played Jason Bourne on screen, it’s looking more and more likely that he will return for a fourth installment in the franchise. Either he’s a glutton for punishment, or he now trusts Paul Greengrass and his crew to turn out fantastic films under just about any circumstances.

According to Variety, a fourth Bourne movie is “on tap” at Universal, and is a very valuable property to the studio since they haven’t been able to get many successful franchises off the ground lately. The exact wording of the article is vague, but it does say that they successfully “landed Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon for a fourth ‘Bourne’ movie, even though the director and star seemed ready to wrap it up after three pics”. I can only assume that this one will be completely divorced from the books; it is my understanding that the original trilogy, while sharing the same titles as the books, didn’t stick very closely to the text, and the other books that came after weren’t even written by Robert Ludlum anymore.

Hi bros, just heard that i'll be heading off to California for some work middle of next month. Just wanted your advice on whether or not is cheaper to buy BR off the stores or from Amazon?

I know some has advocated buying off amazon and have them send the discs to the hotel... but is the timing for the delivery reliable? and can you actually just give the hotel address (without your room number) to amazon? Obviously I'll have to pre order before leaving in order to make a 5 day window at the hotel.

Upgrade to PRIME and if ur stay is between 3-5 days then u shud be covered.

abasan...think amazon gives equivalent if not better price than the stores.

but this i am certain....if you order from amazon, they will send the thing to your hotel. I recommend that you use the 1 or 2 days express delivery options..they're cheap and the most importantly they give you the guarantee that if the thing doesnt arrive to you as promised they will refund you the money.

I have done that before. I requested the BDs to be sent to my BIL, who stays in a hotel in San Francisco for 2 weeks. The items arrived a day earlier. No problem at all.
