thanks to my smart brain,i registered my trogdor1oh1 gamertag under United States *facepalm*.
so i had to make multiple gamertags in different regions so i could buy dlc.

i have one gamertag that is registered under singapore,so i can buy the point cards at gamer's hideout.
i have one gamertag that is registered under united kingdom so my dad can buy with his credit card.

so far my dad helped me buy the dragonforce and metallica packs for guitar hero,and a few songs for rock band(i haven't got it yet,but isn't it fun to get dlc just when i start the game?)

now here's my problem:the only stuff i download is rock band/guitar hero dlc,and some demos.
i bought a core bundle,and gamer's hideout gave me a free 20gb hard drive.
i cleared up most of the demos(right now i think i have harry potter,fifa 09 and guitar hero aerosmith demos),and the rest is all dlc for halo,gears of war,guitar hero and rock band.

now i only have like 2.5 gb left,and i still have more songs to buy,let alone the legendary map pack for halo 3

from what i hear,i have to do some DRM switch thingy if i want to download dlc on another console or hard drive(unless someone's willing to lend me a memory card,but then again i have to switch hdd back and forth too many times...).
and someone once told me that the only person that can use the dlc is the person who downloaded it.
is this true?

and will all i stated in the above work?

i bought 2 point cards from GH last year, no problem on my US account

DLCs can be used:
a) freely by any gamertag on the console it was downloaded on
b) by the gamertag who downloaded it, on any other console, but has to be signed it to XB Live to do so

in your case of multiple gamertag accounts, everything should be fine just as long as you stick to one console. XBL remembers your purchases, you can re-download them as many times as you want. just get another hard drive and re-download your DLCs as needed. no need to involve memory cards and other consoles.
