I used to have matchbox cars when i was very young but alas there are all gone and a pity I have not kept them. Now I'm back with Tomicas &.. Matchboxes (right word?) and not counting the few-and-far purchases in between, I have seriously started on my collection for about three over years

pcv, i dont buy stuff other than the size 1/64... now im concentrating on buying tomicas TL, Regular, HW (interesting models only exp : ferrari racers, Thunts if got) and on and off models of cars like initial d's cars...

I also prefer to collect tomica but too bad TOMICA not really going to produce more on european cars. Therefore, I am force to buy other brand

Today I went to IOI mall Jusco, Hoping to get the TL mini cooper. Unfortunately the model have finish
Since I travel all the way to puchong, I told myself that I cannot go back empty.. lolz
So I pick a TL Nissan Gloria 2000GX and the Solar turn table which already finish sold out at LT Sg. Wang
and also purchase some other brand



Ya one more thing
My Nissan 50th Anniversary collection have reach!!!!! but a bit disappointed. Tonight will share picture with you guys

Yeah Solar Turn Table is nice.. it can go back and forth too you get to insert a name plate to identify the trophy diecast turning in its dazzling greatness!

My 1st disappointment for today is mini cooper sold out

Received package from ibuyxyz today and found out it put inside a document envelope (WHAT? not even try to put in a box?)

3rd disappointment.
the solar turn table not turning
but after I open it and cucuk here and there, now it move. hopefully it dun hv problem coz i dun wan go back there IT'S VERY FAR OHH!!!!!

I also cannot imagine that the solar turn table is actually not saving and battery.. lolz
means once there is no light, it will not move at all.. lolz
and also if uur room is too dim, it cannot move also. Now i have to switch on my table light and light it direct to the turn table... lolz
look a bit stupid

well, guess what, when I bought mine when it was on sale at TRU SJ, it too CANNOT spin at all

Found some at TRU SJ for only RM 39.90, which is very cheap considering it costs 49.90 at the Litt Tak shop and the box looks new.

I had to open it up to see what the problem is and hopefully can repair it.


Open it up and there is a solar collector, a circuit board and the motor connected to the gear box.


In the gears above the motor lies the problem; a piece of the gear (I think the motor assembly) is in the way and is preventing the thing from turning.


After cleaning it up, the gears are free and the turn-table is turning again!!
The silver Celica comes with the solar turntable


Even then will spin for a while b4 coming to stop and have to lift the car so that it can have enough torque to start spinning again. Somemore it is placed under a double fluorescent light in my living room.

Thinking it needs a second operation
