Hi guys,

Anyone tried doing OC on this motherboard ? I tried and it seems the highest FSB I could go was 470 x 6multiplier. Couldn't push any further (all all stock settings). Any possible way I can push pass this FSB ? Maybe OC my ram or something ? I am using 1:1 divider (fsb:ram) and using corsair ddr 800.

Btw, the system would not post after I set FSB any greater than 470. Please guide me in passing through this FSB .. maybe some ram tweaking ?

Thanks alot smile.gif

How come multiplier x6?
Q9450 should be x8 multi right?

Want to test how high the board can go is it?

True. 470 FSB for quad is impressive d.

Yup, would like to see if it can pass 500 fsb or not. If it can, means there is a chance of doing 4.0 on it brows.gif
Looks like I need to google for some ram voltage tweaking then. sweat.gif

I tried playing with GTL ref on the bios. But it seems that my motherboard are limiting me to a 64% max GTL ref voltage( vfsb x 64%). I have seen multiple forums indicating that the gtl voltage value for quad core normally goes at 67%~70%. But my motherboard just cant go to that value, maximum just can go till 64% sad.gif

There's another possibility of your RAMs can't go higher...

If that is the case, then it is rather dissapointing sad.gif. Maybe need to get a higher performance ram to achieve 4ghz =="

Yup saw that as well, he mentioned that he could for 600fsb on air cooling. Dont know it is true or not. I can barely hit pass 470fsb on my current setup. Maybe ram limiting me back.

Changed back to bios 1.3. The UEFI bios seems not so good at overclocking currently.
