Shoujo is anime targeted mainly for female viewer. Yaoi anime means its kinda like BL but for Adult/Mature viewer.
Think of a movie, Yaoi would fall into Porn category (Gay Porn).

I think overall I like dark, twisted, inspirational animes... with artwork that's pleasing to my eyes (nicely drawn and detailed art)~
