u know ur term usage is wrong. kinda like askin for safework porn. shounen-ai is safer compare to yaoi, they kiss, hold each other hand, sayin 'i love u' to each other n will go into bed together but never shown physically/detaily.

*Personally I like Gravitation, Gakuen Heaven, Kirepapa, Ikoku and Sensitive* Except for Ikoku, all of the above has at least those "cute" or "chibi" looks in the anime. I put Ikoku up there because the Ranmaru character is voiced by Hiroki Kamijou's voice actor and almost similar to the character of JR too.

Yes, I agree Gravitation is a must watch for beginner yaoi fans...
However, I have to say that the grand-daddy of all yaoi is "Ai No Kusabi" which is a classic and many yaoi fan can't agree more.
The first anime that touches on gay-theme is actually Patalliro 1982, but that one is more on comedy BL. So the first real yaoi is actually Ai No Kusabi which is an anime from 1990. Although it is old, somehow the storyline and characters are still loved by fans up till today.

@XxJigokuShoujoxX: Gakuen Heaven is lighter than JR but you will find lots of cuteness in it especially after the Ending song of each episodes.

Well, g-string for showing off is like what you said but g-string is actually made for a reason = to eliminate what ppl called VPL (Visible Panty Lines), when a girl wears a tight skirt or pants, g-string saves the day and they use it for fashion runways too, so I think those are fine.
