Thinnest string are suppose to be the 1st E ... not 6!! O.O!!
And it Broke when u tune DOWN?? u sure..=.=... may be u turned too fast, next time turn it slower, bit by bit till u get the sound
since ur guitar new, u should just change the 1st string, unless they had kept the guitar long b4 it sold, mine guitar f210 comes with first set original strings NEVER broke, no matter how i tune it (but somewhat careful)
Added on October 1, 2008, 1:47 amu can get single strings sold out at most of the place.. they even exist in some bookshop(ok, may b there arent good enough), but this depends on wat quality of strings u wanna achieve . just a single string shouldnt cost much. But for safety, change all strings, but make sure you wont broke the E high string again...
