Hi all,

I've just collected my car from repair since accident last month.
Have a question here: Is there a cover for the speaker part from the boot there? What i mean is that when you open up your boot, and look up in the boot area, can you see the speaker with all the metal rod around? is there anything to cover it? coz seems like my one is not there after the repair, need claim back.

btw my car is 2006 honda city.

Thx for the helps =)

RPM drop and idle issues are usually due to dirty throttle body, dirty idle air control valve (IACV) or throttle position sensor.

My suspect is the IACV.

I found a video similar to my problem:

frostworld, don't know about you, but my honda city VTEC cvt starts jerking while idle, and the RPM drops too, plus it makes a loud banging sound when switch to Reverse.

Brought my car to the mechanic, he knew it was the flywheel; replaced with a brand new.. Problem solved. Driving happily now. smile.gif hope you find your problem soon.

Hi cywings, may i know how much u fix ur flywheel, including labour charge? You brought to Honda SC?

Nope I did not go to Honda SC. I made sure my mechanic used new flywheel and original parts.. Came down to 1k all in.. include labor and all. Quite a tedious process. need to take out the whole transmission and all.. left the car at the workshop for 2 days..

Wow thats cheap! Honda SC said fly wheel will cost about 2k including labour. pain.
Can recommend me your workshop?
