QUOTE(kwkean @ Feb 14 2009, 05:35 AM) It is there, confirm. You got to search properly Owh, didnt know that. Is it alright to delete the CardRunner.dll thingy? Scared it might crash or sth. Yea, I have GarminXT installed on my phone and my battery life last like 1 day. Thats pretty weird right?[attachmentid=802470] Personally, I prefer to keep the breathing light on as the clock screen saver feature will eventually drain off your LCD life span. Added on February 14, 2009, 5:42 am That is the major disadvantage of this phone, nothing much you can do about it (Nokia might had done it purposely so ppl will choose e71 instate). If you had install Garmin, remember to delete the CardRunner.dll file, save lots of battery power. |

QUOTE(yip_man @ Feb 16 2009, 09:31 PM) You can use the basic Explorer, bcoz it is a system hidden files, you need to use 3rd party apps such as X-plore, Y-Browser or others to locate it... Hmm, thx for the help but I couldnt delete it, it says operation error.(Memory Card) E/Resocurse/plugins/CardRunner.RSC |

QUOTE(yip_man @ Feb 16 2009, 10:20 PM) The new garmin kills the battery life on our phones. There is a program called TSRAutostart.exe that is draining the battery. If you have jbtaskman and kill the process, it will just start again when you restart your phone. Here is a solution to stop that file from automatically starting, thus greatly increasing your battery life. I've deleted the 2 files Hopefully it works and I saw this TSRAutostart.exe file at the folder too.To stop that file from restarting, plug your phone into your computer and use the mass storage setting. Then, delete these two files \sys\bin\CardRunner.dll \resource\plugins\CardRunner.RSC This will stop that battery hog file from starting up. If you install jbtaskman you can kill the process after your run garmin. This will increase your battery. It works for me, and i use the e71 |

I still feel my battery life is short after deleting those Garmin files, will the JBTaskman affects battery power? |
