I'm planning to get the E66. I'm using the 6680 now. Can i find out how do i transfer all my phonebook, sms/mms, pics, games, etc which is mostly in my memory card (old Mini SD, not newer Micro SD) to the new phone?

Btw, any recommended seller for Ori E66? Looking for one this weekend. Thanks.

you can always use TMPGEnc. Its for newbie to professional.

hate the battery power of this phone. 2 days have to recharge. heavy usage is not recomendded. esspecially wehn using text msg, wifi and all... adoi. got any third party battery that will last longer?

the newest version of TMPGEnc is very powerfull. It could even convert to DIVX format not to mention mp4 too. Check it out and you would be amazed.

Though I'm now using the E71, am tempted to get the E66 as well.

Well, the fact that it has a normal keypad, and it has accelerometer which enables you to flip the phone into Silent mode when there's an incoming call.

Will not be selling the E71 if I do get the E66, instead will use it side by side.

ok. You can add me to the list. I just got mine (ori set) today and transferred my data from the old Nokia successfully using "Switch".

Lets see what else it can do.....

For the interest of any users on SE phones moving to E66, I've found a solution in transferring the contacts after digging through the net. I'll share it here

1. Copy the the .vcf file from System/Pim in the memory card of the SE phone (SE phones usually save the contacts in a single .vcf file if you chose to backup the contacts to the memory card)

2. Download the vcfsplitter software from here. It's free

3. Read the readme file included in the software for the instructions to split the single .vcf file to multiple .vcf files of your contacts.

4. Import all the .vcf files in PC Suite and all the contacts should be transferred to your e66
I've done mine and it worked like a charm

Is hard reset the same as format & reinstall the firmware?

Hmm..I have some issues here.

1. I browsed the net and found that you can actually do an auto contact search by pressing the numbers in Home Sreen. However, mine doesn't work..only the numbers appear as I type but no search results shown.

2. Whenever I restarted the phone, an installation bar is shown. When the installation ends, a message stating that there's an unsafe content in memory card that is not installed and asked me to proceed to app. manager to have it installed.
Anyone encountered such problems?

which GPS is recommend on E66? i've install Garmin MTX but its asking for BT Connection. arent E66 was surpose to be GPS build in??

I was browsing through the Download! folder in my e66 and realised that I can download F-Secure Mobile Security for 0 cost. Have anyone tried out this particular software on your e66?
