i never play the alone in the dark 1-3, but i did play the 4th 1, few times, thoroughly enjoy it.
i know it has #5, but cant seems to find it anywhere ><

so hopefully alan wake can let me re-live those scary moment

Alone in the dark 1 on PS1 is d most scariest shit i ever play, follow by SH 1 and RE 1. thats what i call Horror-Survivor. too bad nowdays not many good horror/survival game

Alan wake is cheap for its CE o. will get this once got fund mayb or drag till another sales to those whom play it, giv some screenie and comment

good game. i might drop koa's game time for this. graphic wise is awesome. surreal horror game. if you like action/adventure+horror, then this game is a must buy

Even in the first episode, I ran out of ammo right near the beginning of the game. So yeah, misses can be costly. A lot of emphasis on dodging.

agrees with u all, this game is by far the best release for horror genre after dead space 2...

but i still dont know what the f*** is going on ... is alan in a coma? or its really a town which is sucking people into another dimension ?!?! love the slow cam too when dodging enemies attack

playing the game......feel not scary at all......and too many useless collectibles

I would say it is more thriller than horror.... as in survival horror. Which is why it is more about the mystery rather than the scares.

Finish the game through the story first before judging why it isn't scary or why it's different.
Alan Wake was never a horror game.

It's more in the lines of Clock Tower.

the game intro already explains what it is about:

"Stephen King once wrote, ‘Nightmares exist outside of logic, and there’s little fun to be had in explanations; they’re antithetical to the poetry of fear’."

This game perfomance very2 well..good port i can say..i use GTS450, play at 1080p max setting..smooth.
