damm shocked by the score though...looks like it wont topple max payne scores after 9 years waiting haha

s 4 xbox can sparrow the games,,,its M$ crap after all...anything made by M$ sure is sparrow-table unlike the japanese counterpart who add tighter DRM 2 pwnd the cracker back s 4 now n hopefully it will last so that i had the incentive 2 buy GT5 original hehe

for me max payne scored lower 3rd person fps, AW is really good and innovative.

the ps3 custom loader is ready (why do u think sony decided to remove the 3rd party os option), just that noone bother to rip the bluray, its expensive to clone a bluray.

alan wake better than heavy rain in gameplay and ideas. If your a chick then possibly heavy rain is more to your liking.

Remedy Entertainment is proud to announce the PC release of Alan Wake. Coming in early 2012, the game will give PC gamers the Alan Wake experience they have been patiently waiting for. Remedy is a developer with deep roots in the PC space (Death Rally and Max Payne 1 and 2), so the game will have the high resolution polish that longtime fans will expect.

The PC version of the game will also include The Signal and The Writer downloadable content.

Alan Wake tells the story of a best-selling writer suffering from writer’s block. He goes on vacation to the small town of Bright Falls with his wife, Alice, to gain back his creative flow. Shortly upon arrival, Wake finds himself trapped in a nightmare when his wife mysteriously goes missing. He keeps finding pages of a manuscript he apparently wrote, but can’t remember writing. The manuscript is coming true. An involving psychological action thriller, Alan Wake raises the bar in storytelling and creating a suspenseful cinematic experience.

Release window sound familiar? That’s because Alan Wake’s American Nightmare for Xbox Live Arcade will also be available in the first quarter of 2012! For more information and updates, please visit Facebook www.facebook.com/alanwake and Twitter @Remedygames.

generally i think remedy intention is not trying to promote Alan wake. I think they are trying to promote their engine for indie developers to help design their games. Last i heard they are planning to incorporate their Construction kit.

their engine could generate weather and its effects, day/night in a split second and light technique that doesnt consume too much resources.

the game intro already explains what it is about:

"Stephen King once wrote, ‘Nightmares exist outside of logic, and there’s little fun to be had in explanations; they’re antithetical to the poetry of fear’."

From the video I already can see the low res on xbox side.

it might be low res but it Alan wake did all the thing that many though it was impossible, environment and lighting effects. In my book, it is still 1 of the most beautiful games on console

so? low res tetap is low res, you dont have to be so defensive on Xbox360
Making your comment like a fanboi.

FYI, I use my TV for my console and PC as well, so sit well damn close, so yeah, i can spot the low texture damn clear as a sky.

i agree with Kidicarus, even with the lower rez textures. The game still keep its appeal, so the x360 isnt losing much in the comparison. Remedy did a good job in their engine and design.
