Hi bro, sorry im not sure how much is needed for repair coz i've never repair my iphone before.but i think u should probably prepare rm100-rm200 for repair.iphone is not normal phone and its hard to get parts for it.anyways, good luck with it.

I highly doubt that it is related to hardware... Sounds like it is related to firmware..have similar problem back in my custom fw2.0.1 after installing some of the stuff from cydia. Normal restore doesn't eliminate the problem, dfu mode restore will do the job

I remember him using a cracked version of SwirlyMMS which he insensitively mentioned it quite loudly in the SwirlyMMS post.
Maybe this could be the cause. Who knows.

davidgary73 is right in a way that 99.9% of my first gen iphone malfunctions were caused by 3rd party apps gathered from installer or cydia.

if reallly is hardware problem then headache edi, if this is the root cause, issit can get warranty from Singtel( I brought from there last month). Either warranty or repair , it goes last.. Now i m thinking upgrade to 2.0.1 to see how... How you guy think? or still have any possibility to let me test? Thank for opinion and help.

Geo, last time this problem was happened to my 1st gen iphone too.. I sent to a service center in digital mall.. they told me repair cost RM200+
After that, i sent the phone to my supplier there, they helped me to restore everything then the vibration is working after that.
