Try using MAS CARGO for international delivery (if you want it fast that is)... try inquiring them about the details of the procedures... I've used their service to move from Shah Alam to Kota Kinabalu. It Waaaaay cheaper compared to using POS Malaysia or other courier services.

Otherwise, you can always try to importing your stuff via sea-route. I think the companies dealing with such service are listed in the Yellow Pages. But of course it will be slower.

If its weight more then 1000kgs, it will be cheaper using sea freight.

Usually it will take 4 to 5 weeks to reach port Klang.

1000kg, better to import by sea, unless it is very urgent. Delivery can be 2-5weeks depending on which country. You can arrange the cargo yourself or ask your supplier to arrange it then pay the sea freight charges. Likely is that your supplier quoted you the price is Ex-works.

There are companies locally that could arrange your cargo from the importing country to Malaysia.1000kg, just use LCL (loose container load), probably slightly more expensive. Not sure about the import license. I think it very much depends on the goods that you are importing.
