hi guys,


anybody doing import-export business kinda thing here? or even work in international courier company?
i want to import stuff from overseas, more like distributorship la, i calculated the stuff maybe even 1000KG doh.gif
if use freight its gonna cost a bomb right?

is there any other options? kontena maybe?

1000kg, better to import by sea, unless it is very urgent. Delivery can be 2-5weeks depending on which country. You can arrange the cargo yourself or ask your supplier to arrange it then pay the sea freight charges. Likely is that your supplier quoted you the price is Ex-works.

There are companies locally that could arrange your cargo from  the importing country to Malaysia.1000kg, just use LCL (loose container load), probably slightly more expensive. Not sure about the import license. I think it very much depends on the goods that you are importing.

thx. any idea how much 1 tonne gonna cost if using air @ sea freight?
