QUOTE(SuBryN3 @ Feb 15 2009, 02:29 AM) reclusa... max 8 keypresses and no multi keypress for macrosx6... multikeypress is tedious to do with the software and auto inserts delays. G15...can record LONG LONG keypresses for macros and can detect multi keypress with or without using the software. |

QUOTE(David900924 @ Mar 11 2009, 10:44 AM) what KB best for macro keys? last time I thought G15 macro too much but then now I feel like not enough macro key which can be assign in any keys. definitely the G15....u can never have too many macros... or the sidewinder X6 oso can la...but a bit leceh la to setup their macros...especially if u dont want a delay between keypresses. |

QUOTE(Calvin_PB @ Mar 18 2009, 05:36 PM) btw cant compare with those G15 due diferent types of technology and build by different things, actually i lazy say all la.. hehe... i say some i feel my self K, first, it using cherry switches, it is a mechanical swithes, it can give more typing and pressing feeling on the keyboard with click clak sound and the keys very springy which it also can last u more than 50 million strokes, other normal or gaming keyboard is ony max till 10 to 20 million strokes, tats why review said that it could last u forever because of quality they build, and it is proven that by using the gold plated keys and the mechanical switches the keys can be press all keys simultaneously, means there was no limit how keys u press altogether it is still detectable while other keyboard got limit, even razer is ony up to 10...and it is also very good responces, maybe some ppl dont feel it, but i feel it in my fps games, the responce of the keys is really faster than other keyboard, even razer got the technology of hyperesponce towards the keyboard, but it is just somethin that make at the plated keys to force it to be responce faster while mechanical keybords is really responce and detect faster, i think u just nid to press each keys about 30% it already detectable... hope don mind my info is a bit messy, i think google ppl review is easier to read, sorry my bad english/// well no doubt the looks of the mechanical keyboards is sure worst than other keyboard.. haha.. it looks cheap outside but too good inside...and i found out that the 7G got 2 layered of keys printing.... after the first layer fade it will looks lighter somethin like grey but stil seenable and that layer i guess it wont fade anymore... hopefully.. haha after ur description... the only advantage it has (to me) is the longer key strokes life and 2 layer key printing.madman, maybe u try first la... since u type a lot. simultaneous key press... dont care about it...wont ever need to response time.... meh... im fine with a cheapo keyboard response for any game i play...so thats no issue oso faster detection... i type fast...and people who type fast usually bang their keyboards... so either way...when i press a key its gonna go down all the way... this either makes no difference or could end up as a nuisance... as for typing feel....that i cant comment... coz never tried....unless someone wants to loan it to me for 2 weeks la so until i try... i still see no reason that could justify the price of a mechanical keyboard. right now all i can see is that people are paying for the switches...thats it...and i see no advantage of the switches compared to normal keyboards...its still overpriced in my view. but thanks for the info... |

QUOTE(ham_revilo @ Mar 29 2009, 08:12 PM) it is...go to Bulk Order section and look for allngap's thread for the Dell Multimedia Keyboard. costs about RM90 and typing feel is excellent. it can also take alot of abuse (it did from me for quite some time)...n believe it or not...the build quality is even more sturdier than the more expensive MS Reclusa. if all ur looking for is a nice, no frills keyboard thats good for typing...the Dell Multimedia keyboard is the one to get. one of the best keyboards ive ever used. if u want something bling bling and has laptop style keys....i went to ALL IT today and fell in love with the looks of the Enermax Caesar keyboard... but i personally wouldnt buy it coz i dont like laptop style keys and i dont like the small backspace button and large enter buttons. anyway..heres a REVIEW of the keyboard in case ur interested (strongly recommend u read the review first). |
