Much thanks for the address. She's alive today...sleeping on some cool stones. Dad said no more blood but not out of the woods yet.
Cold storage should have, I think. Must she get an operation or the juice is enough?
Need to know if it's very far because if it is she might not tahan the journey...
Added on November 30, 2008, 2:54 pmI live around PTWC by the way. And how much ml of cranberry juice?

Thanks for all the condolences. We placed orchid flowers on her grave and took some pictures of it.
Very pretty. A little bit hard to see it the moment you open the door to the balcony though...

I wonder....
If it is possible for owners to vapourize the phenols by chucking the wood shavings into the oven, or the shavings will catch on fire?
If we vapourize all the phenols then it's just plain wood for the hamster isn't it?

QUOTE(sangels @ Dec 2 2008, 06:31 PM) Hmm... good idea for experiment. Maybe you wanna try and let us know the outcome? But, who can be sure the phenol can vaporized completely with that method? Who is willing to scarified an oven to do that, as if its really works, so then humans who are going to use that oven will be consuming the phenol or not? That's a very 'expensive' way of using cheap pine bedding. Better use better bedding or non pine bedding to avoid harm to animals or maybe humans. Of course the better option is to just get surely safe shavings, but what aobut those who cannot get or something. Oh well, it was a good thought. Elaine, if you see watery poop ideally should see a vet immediately since Hamsters die very quickly form it. either way, shivering is a bad sign, try to keep it warm by putting a towel over the cage and more tissue paper.

It's biting because it's growing teeth. Give it some thing chewy to bite like untreated wood or a chewtoy.

Does it clump only or clumps into a hard ball that's difficult to break?
If clump and then you can easily break it apart then it's fine. But if it clumps into a hard object nope, don't use.
