when i try to play a 11gb file, it takes a while to get the movie started. is this normal?

but its really taking a long time.
finished my breakfast and the movie hasnt loaded. haha

dunnoe if this helps. the file info. some movie abt a hot chick, a dude and machines with red eyes.
