does your data backup contain a a lot of app in it.?if yes i think some of the app in the data you backup making ur battery drain fast,

how about to restore again to 2.1 and quickpwn again, then see how it work, if batter not draining so fast means that when you transfer back all your backup data into you iphone, some of the app drain you battery fast..

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah it does have a of of apps. What if i delete all apps than do a backup and then restore and quickpwn?
Will that work?So can i assume that  2.1 firmware is not the culprit that's draining my battery?

yes, delete all the app would be nice since we can only use default app after restoring, and we can assume that app you restore is the problem that make ur phone battery drain fast, and if im not wrong, we can only restore back some file for example your contact, calendar, note etc, try not to back up your app because 2.1 is different from older firmware,

i suspecting that the app you backup is not for firmware 2.1, thats why it make ur battery drain fast, may i know what firmware you using before you upgrading to 2.1..? please dont tell me its 1.1.4..huhuhuhu.. icon_idea.gif because some of the app, they have update it to make the app compatible with new firmware so if we use older app into the new firware, maybe..maybe..it make the battery drain fast or some any other error in iphone...cheers...

i don't think the quickpwn not the culprit because other people not getting this problem including me, yes you can restore it back but i think it will waste your time deleting, restoring, upgrading to new firmware, quickpwn it, then restore it back, pain ooo if doing like that,
BUT...by doing like that, you will get more experience and will eventually know what cause you iphone battery draining fast.

p/s: sorry error typo, 3G phone does not come with 1.1.4 or older firmware, SORRY... notworthy.gif
