I'm also looking for electronic-acoustic. Have you guys tried Fina?
Fina has lots of good model for rm600-800 range.
I saw this guitar selling rm680. I bargained it until rm610. But I haven't bought yet. You guys can take a look of it in this link.

if 300-400 range.. why don't u try the range of samick acoustic guitar @ Do Re Mi.., i bought mine there., in fact i have 2 samick acoustic.. and 1 samick cobra electric guitar..

i found that samick produces a good quality guitar with a price range that's affordable to beginner musician.

go and test for yourself.., i am for one that don't really believe in splurgin my money just to own a good brand.. !

brand doesn't mean anything to me if it cost me a bomb to own it..

figure this - fancy a RM1,000 plus range yamaha guitar sound? but have budget below 500? - go try samick.. !
