no cc is just what noob shamans whine n b****.they have other, more important issues/problems than just cc.
in fact, snares counts as cc, they got FS/EB.

The main issues are survivability and mobility. And getting a developer who actually plays the Shaman. Yes, none of them do, they admitted it.

Here's what you can expect from being a Warrior:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZifvW8LNPM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oa4u1qY32Ws Skip to halfway of the 1st video or Just watch the 2nd video if you want to skip the long-ass intro. |

my experience lvling char to 70;
Warrior is the hardest class to level i would say, 3mobs, fear.. cd??means death.sometimes 2 also can kiok. strongly depends on your gear, meaning u hav to spend money on AH Shaman easier. enhance burst dmg, 3 mobs can handle easily.no need to think about running. If >3 mobs, stoneclaw+run or earthbind+run~~ Rogues..hmm..not as hard as a Warrior but Shaman is alot easier. Thats in term of lvling. After 70 life? its diff tho. PVE.Prot warrior is in need. yeah ur the 'important guy' in raid/party. its fun being important and bossy sometimes. or u can go spec ms and do PVP arena. |

Gah maybe mage is a better choice for me then. Im not much of a leader kinda person and from what i know, prot tanks are the ones in charge.

for PVE raids anyone can be in charge, not just the prot warrior. PVP wise, its really what kind of playstyle that you prefer. Dont choose a class because its OP'ed or popular now, you might not like playing the class (e.g i hate playing my alt lock, using him to herb). From my point of view, as my main is a shaman, PVP is all about survivability (being resto) and burst (elemental/enhance).
For me i enjoy going into bg's with a 2hander and raid gear and just smack everyone silly. Granted, i die a lot, but hey 3k WF crits one shotting mages is one hell of a stress release after work |

Ahhh, well that changes things in perspective then. Cause i always thought the tanks were the ones who controlled the raids and being new to this all would suck alot.

Studies from MARA have shown TBC raiders to be 13.18% more responsive to a raid leader that is playing a male tauren enhancement shaman (also known as MTES). A related study also shows that 60%+active raid members are 26.91% less prone to a recurring symptom known as "E.M.O." when a male tauren enhancement shaman is leading the raid.
An unproven but currently being researched linkage is the recent 2007 survey results that MTES players have the highest ventrilo voice quality rating. |
