Need help with iPhone 3G and iTune, Manually sync

Hi,
I'm new with iPhone and iTune.
I've created some custom ringing tones (in .m4r format) but how can i sync manually to my iphone? i tried to drag and drop but it doesnt work.
any advise?

The ringtone file must not be longer than 35-40 seconds or not iTunes will refuse to recognize it.

It does not matter weather you are new or old. There's a proper search button you can use to seek the answers. I can find it, everyone can find it...so can you. Take some iinitiative if can. Yes, i know.. my ringing tone is less than 30 secs... you know how to sync ringing tone manually?

My ringtones are all 1 minute long..i have not problems. Using iToner for mac.

u can manually select which ringtone u wanna select 2 sync... Attached thumbnail(s)

LOL at iTune, i guess u only have a song in there..
unlike my iTunes...
just try and tick and untick everything u see there....no harm trying

i check the manually sync in summary but when i want to sync my ringing to iphone, it will erase all the songs in ipod... i dont know why this happen....

that will usually happen if you attempt to synchronise your iphone/ipod with a different pc or mac

try this on da summary screen, leave da 3 boxes unchecked ringtones, select manually music, u can choose 2 sync entire library or ur playlists
Added on September 18, 2008, 5:25 pmphotos, podcast n video..same case...can manuallly sellect or entire data

Searching a little bit will not harm u. I know this is repetition, but eventually if u keep asking step by step question, people may get bored n stop answering to u. So try to look around first, even beyond davidgary suggestion, n come back if there r still questions. If all r solved, then just close the thread.
Normally most questions dat we asked about a topic has already been discussed in the thread made specially for dat particular topic
