Q1) Sorry, another question for mobile phone. If I buy t-mobile phone from carphonewarehouse, can my orange SIM card work with it? Or orange mobile onli usable for orange and "t-mobile" mobile onli usable for "t-mobile"?  blink.gif

Q2) Can I apply for the HSBC Online Bonus Saver account when I am a passport account holder? Or I need to wait until my contract end a year later first?

Hmmm you're at Glasgow? It really rhymes with your nick as Glasgow is always raining tongue.gif (at least everytime i go there it cant fail to rain)

for Q1 Most mobile phone are locked to the providers unless stated as unlocked phone. So if you but T Mobile phone you can only use it with T Mobile sim. you can go to shop and ask as some shops like Vodafone have unlocking service and iinm most O2 phones are not locked (except the iPhone tongue.gif )

Q2 i am not sure since i am dont have HSBC acc

hehe. if you are not into football and drinking basically there is nothing much you can do with the locals. tr find some sports or something to do in your free time.

the deals online are quite nice but there is always a catch. like you have to claim those cashbacks every month ( or 3 months) etc etc. So read their (long winded) contract agreement carefully. Buy online is definitely cheaper than high street.

About their accent. You will get used to it soonif you ommunicate with them frequently.

a few of my friends worked full time using student visa after graduating while waiting for their work permit to be processed.

This is possible as my friend has confirmed it with a call to home office. you are allowed to work full time with your student visa after you have graduated form your studies.

However this is like 2 years back as i dont know if Home Office has tighten the rules since the introduction of new tier system
