cameron,
er, i dont know, i guess there are more "barang" up at g.highland than anywhere else,
if even the barang manage to be beside you...
take account of this, uncle lim has unlimited fund to gamble against you and others,
eg.. u are in a table with 5 person..each plays rm100 against dealer..you win...4 people pops..
means without using uncle lim's resource..rm500-rm200 hence uncle lim is still earning rm300 from that set..
after winning 5 sets, being greddy, you will gamble even more...
so...being typical complusion gambling...even the best barang cannot help you if you win abit..
=P

ya . u are right Uncle Lim will be the one laughing to the Bank. what ever amulet or talisman is useless. heard from somone that other than the feng shui , uncle Lim got twenty over Archand and monks do 24hrs chanting everyday notworthy.gif

er...well
using barang/amulets to gamble is always not a very good thing, amulets is to protect and assist with daily life,if theva/god decides to give us abit of windfall luck, then its good, not everyone can have it.

My friend has Tok Raja / Chao Kun Chan rians as well. A few made by Than Mit but blessed by Tok Raja. As you said, and yeah the difference is there when you wear Tok Raja / Chao Kun Chan.....

Im not very good in pidta as I'm still learning as well... Yeah, Luang Pu Toh (Wat Praduchimplee) pidta is indeed very expensive. You can try looking for Chao Kun Onn's pidta (Wat Sg.Padi) in Narathiwat. I knew 1 batch of his pidta are made of black wood (99pcs were made only). Fyi, I dont really go and seek for amulets nowadays as I'm more into chanting (Pali Chanting).

Only read the 1st page, so forgive if I missed anything that's repeated already.

Well, I don't know all too much about Thai Gods and such, but my mom is Thai and shes a faithful believer/worshiper, so if there are any specifics, just hit me with a PM and I could forward the question to her.

There is one thing she mentioned to me before - not to offer something in return if you wish/pray for something. Mom and her friends told me various true stories how people wished for something and said they would do something in return if their wish came true. But they didn't and some bad karma, omen.. etc, befell on them.

Like there was one where this woman prayed to strike on the lottery and would dance in the nude for the God if she won. She did win.. but didn't dance at all. Then she got into some vehicle accident and something after that I can't recall. And I think she went to consult with a monk about it and was told she needs to fulfill her promise. So she went back to the praying spot and got people to fence it up and did her dance and things went back to normal laugh.gif
