Hi ppl,

Anybody out there who has a Dell s2409w? What is your calibration settings like for console gaming? i'm not sure how to calibrate mine sad.gif

i got that one. just use the monitor control panel..not much u can do and its not hard enuf

haha yeah i know, it's pretty simple to navigate the control panel. was just wondering if anybody might share what they think is the optimum settings for the RGB colours, contrast, timing etc.

ok, i'm hoping if there is sumone could share that too.by the way,what console are u played?but i think ps3 might fit the lcd because lots of games support 1080p

set for ur eyes...whatever setting that u think suits ur eyes, then that's it. the setting just for colors, not affecting anything else.

You need to do research on calibrations. If it's for TV I would know what to do, but I'm not too sure of the tools for PC monitor.

alright, got a reply from hwoarang 45:

i just tune it via THX optimiser on my Terminator 2 blue ray,

for
pc on dvi
brightness = 35
contrast = 96
input colour format = RGB
mode selection = grahpics
preset mode = warm

ps3 on hdmi
brightness = 30
contrast = 90
input colour format = RGB
mode selection = video
preset mode = nature

tats a rough tuning based of my eye and comfort... still looking for someone to borrow me a hardware tuner hahaa..
