lol....u were watching the 2nd team of WM man ....obviously retry lots....but still beat you . U were allowed 2 hours if you think u couldve done better then why stay at 16 mins? No confidence?
By the way, team 2 of WM did 16 mins for their first try remember? Only that they had 1 man down. Then again, no team did as many solo runs as your team did.

And u didnt watch team WM 1st team. They did it in under 30mins to achieve the 15 mins

lol bro lose the ego man, where's ur sportsmanship? don't give excuses for not being able to beat my 2nd team. it's like saying liverpool can't beat MU just because they're playing at old trafford (which was proven wrong)

btw u guys did do solo runs many times and the official was very lenient in the beginning. team Disburn for example, was not really allowed the privilege of solo runs as you did.

if you're implying that my team left incaps behind and did solo runs, pls refer to the official in charge of our game. i'm sure he would proof you wrong. but if you're not implying it, good

Didnt see ur team play...saw ur 2nd team tho....they didnt leave teammates behind alright..coz they KILLED whoever was incap....great teamplay indeed

Reason we lost by a min? I was limping through the whole BH4 (incapped outside safehouse) coz my team didnt kill me
In the end, a loss is a loss anyway so no point arguing about it now...i just hope tournaments will be VS from now on...had a few games with pro teams...was fun as hell

@king99: yep the mouse had very low dpi therefore a swing with the mouse = look at the sky

Define solo runs?

you dont really need a degree in rocket science to know what a solo run is.....

This will be my only post on this thread so I hope everyone stop flaming each other.

Left 4 Dead is a coop game with alot of random variables involved because of the AI director. Personally, that is the main feature of this game. To remove the random variables is to play something other than Left 4 Dead.

The teams got their times by following the rules. Sure, there were moments where they were really pushing it but in the end, those grey areas were nullified because they wiped or they chose to restart the whole campaign. In the end, their official times were from the runs where they followed the rules.

Disburn were called out alot of times during their run because they blatantly broke the only rule in the tournament. I would say it was done on accident rather than on purpose but who is to say when you are so concentrated in the match? In the end, they tried their best and everyone there gave them support in morale. I give my thanks to everyone who did that.

So, just give credit where credit is due and if you cannot say anything nice, then don't post at all. Everyone who joined the tournament were good sports on that day and I hope this post stays the same way.

i think the solo run rule is very open to interpretation. by no means is it the organizer's fault its more to the nature of the game and the players ability to push/exploit it.

i've played this game and i enjoyed it. the game is random, its built to be random. makes people coming back for more. coop is very random, but they've toned it down a little in versus.

but because of this randomness this game can never be a full blown competitive game. where money & pride is concerned, random is a big no-no. the gameplay wont be balanced. take the random crits in tf2 for example and why it was removed for competitive play.

& for the two people arguing : get over yourselves.
