Alright guys, here our local Malaysia L4D Community : Left 4 Dead Malaysia Alliance http://steamcommunity.com/groups/left4deadmalaysiaalliance/

The intention for this community is for those people around Malaysia and Singapore who wish to play with other people in same region. You can add people from the community as they are all from either Malaysia or Singapore. E-Club been link their server to our community for easy access to their server.

Hall of Fame

To make the game more exciting. I'm making this Hall of Fame to record the best time completion of a campagin by players.
Simply just screenshot the time used to complete the game at the end of the finale and the name (IGN) of players involve in the game (I dont remember if enough space both both time and player IGN in 1 screenshot or not, will find out tonight). The Hall of Fame will separate to 2 difficulty and for each campaign.

Egads, is nobody playing it yet? I've been waiting for someone to setup a server, been playing with my own dedicated server on my lan for the last 1week+ now. If anyone wishes to play on it drop me a line...since it's on lan you'll have to connect with hamachi. If anyone else has setup a server please let me know, I'd like to play on there!

L4D where got LAN? if u refering the "local" setting that arent LAN per se. My fren all can connect via their game. I dont see any reason to use hamachi at all, unless urs is pirated.

There are both Lan/Internet dedicated servers by the way. You can install it via tools in steam. Furthermore if you haven't noticed, all the random servers that you get connected to have crappy speeds+lag, not so much in coop but moreso in versus matches. I am playing this on my lan with a few people so there is no need for me to play online with all of them as this will obviously sap my internet connection with a few more people. So logically, in order to have a good enough experience for everyone, I can take at least 1 or 2 other people to play on my dedicated lan, which in turn, people (from the internet) can only connect to via hamachi. So please, stop with the accusations of piracy. In any case, I did also ask if anyone HAS setup their own dedicated server. Why would I ask that if I couldn't connect to one? Sheesh, kids these days...

PS - if you don't know about the lan thing, go to Tools in steam, and right click on "Left 4 Dead Dedicated Server" and click on install. After it has installed, click on "Launch". If you run a dedicated server you can see from the gui itself that you can select "Internet" or "LAN" from the "Network" setting.. Surprise, surprise..
PPS - in any case, hamachi once again is the answer for me since I am firewalled and it is quite transparent, since I host this dedicated server I would much prefer not to open extra ports either, and it is easier to evict and ban users I don't want through it.
