thieves tried to steal my wira last night!!
They dug out the boot lock and made a spare key to open the door and start the car. Luckily I had an immobilizer installed and they could not bypass that. They must have been interrupted because I found the key they had made in the ignition this morning. With my immobilizer the key worked. My mechanic told me the thieves only need 10 minutes or less to make a spare key using the boot lock. i notice the Gen2 does not have a boot lock and i am wondering whether I should just seal up the hole where the boot lock is. I will have to change my ignition lock because they took away the boot lock and can return with another spare key any time. |
