QUOTE(the_catacombs @ Sep 17 2008, 03:09 PM) good for environment as in no noise pollution??.. so as for ur caryaya... theoritically can say so... but exhaust system also must depend on the whole setup... different car for different driving style has different setup.... wat kind of setup u did? can share? if can better list out the engine mod so we can know just driving halfway, i was thinking that 2 same cars for example wira 1st wira only 2 wheel drive (FWD) and 2nd wira 4wd both same spec, same type and everything just tat the drivetrain different and both also same HP which wan will be faster? or both also the same? |

QUOTE(jssim @ Sep 17 2008, 03:24 PM) anytime lah...hahaha on crank HPbut sometime outstation...then cannot lor.... Added on September 17, 2008, 3:27 pm u mean onwheel hp ?? if base on pickup(zero4), i bet 4wd faster....cuz 4tyres grip on the ground.... if track use...maybe fwd lor.....cuz 4wd will facing under steer when taking corner... juz my 2cents...correct me if im wrong.... not on wheel HP from wat i think, 4wd grip better but for respond, i think fwd faster a little.. just like SOHC and DOHC engine SOHC can respond faster but in top end DOHC pawn everything then wat about the torque? (both same HP so will they have the same torque too? ) |

QUOTE(jssim @ Sep 17 2008, 03:48 PM) thats y lor....if crank hp, then fwd will be faster....cuz 4wd got xtra heavierpart like long shaft & rear gearbox / axle...then at last the on wheel hp will be lower d~~~ hmm... i seeif same mod then i guess the torque will be the same then u faster change ur FWD to 4WD then we can know the result |

QUOTE(jssim @ Sep 17 2008, 04:02 PM) then juz transplant a new heart for ur babe lah~~~ i already using 4g92juz work it out how much u gonna spend....now & future....the work it out how much is a halfcut.... not to say GSR turbo or EVo halfcut... juz 4g91 or 4g92...worth it u know~~hahaha~~~ alot of thing to play with this engine but i no money to play with it QUOTE(the_catacombs @ Sep 17 2008, 04:02 PM) my car stock standard only... dont so low profileif 2wd, it will spin all its power away at start... but like u said the bnr34 jumps up and down during initial start, its the suspension problem... suspension also plays a part in drag battle... suspension should be stiff enough to prevent the tyres from jumping up and down... it should keep the wheels intact on the ground all the time so the power can be transfered to the road... i know u got monster under hood |

QUOTE(the_catacombs @ Sep 17 2008, 09:22 PM) billet aluminium cams means not regrind cams lor... they are lighter in weight and has higher lift compare to regrind cams.... i see...of coz la... i saw a research in WOC website on few type of cams like below 1. Stock 2. HKS 272 3. Crane 272/264 4. TOMEI 280 hydraulic lifter 5. TOMEI 280 solid lifter 5. Brian Crower stage 2 6. Brian Crower stage 3 7. GSC S2 8. GSC S3 9. Kelford 272 10. Greddy Easy Cams 11. FP 4R then higher degree wont give more hp some lower degree but give high hp dont tell me all this cams i listed is regrind cams... haha |
