is e5200 worth it than e7200?considering budget pc for my fren...and maybe even me self as im jumping to intel to try oc
*
If you have the budget, just go for E7200. E5200 is budget processor who want to overclock but can't afford high price exclusive processor such as E8400, E8600..

if i was u i choose e5200 , cos e7200 and e5200 just L2 cahce diff only . other not much diff  flex.gif
*
L2 cache really made the different dude. Higher L2 cache mean your proc can process more data at higher rate.

E5200 vs E7200, so which is better performance overall?

I just noticed the Dual Core series is still called Pentium Dual Core??? i tot pentium obsolete alredi,  hmm.gif
*
Who cares about their name? As long as their performance not on par with pentium 1,11, 111, and 4 and The performance is the utmost important.

Is the statement written by some people saying that E5200 performance is on par with AMD X2 6000+ is legit? I'm hoping E5200 performance is way beyond AMD X2 series.

Details? FSB, multiplier and RAM speed?  smile.gif
*
FSB is 275mhz. Multiplier is 12x. Ram speed is 733mhz.

But i lowered it down to 3.0ghz atm. Load temp for 3.3ghz is way high for stock cooler. 82C.

vcore is voltage that processor needed. Its not a software. If you want to increasing your clock speed, your proc going to need more power, so i increase the from 1.18v to 1.312 v.
