im having problem with my iphone 2g v1.1.4 , sometimes it suddenly shows "No Service" , then it goes to "NO SIM"
why isit so ? when this happens i have to restart the phone several times.. sometimes its so bad... until ill hv to turn off the phone for a few minutes then turn it on back. why isit so ? |

sifu here... please help me with my problem posted on page 81 (Post #1602) , there seems to be no response to my problem.. pls sifu's here help me... what could be the issue ? isit my iphone KO or firmware prob ?

looks like it was my sim card problem.. got my sim card replaced.. all fine now.
Happy Iphone user now ! Model : Iphone2g 8gb (AT&T set) Mod : From fw 1.1.4 to 2.2 Using windows. The final DFU thingy, doesnt work, it just hangs on the first title, never goes to second. Now all gone... Phone asking to plug in to ITUNES screen.  This post has been edited by rattan: Jun 8 2009, 10:08 PM |

Hurray finally version 2.2 on my 2g...

oh my... after successfully updating my fw to 2.2 on my 2g 8gb,
my contacts seems like haywired. I already restore my phonebook contact which i backed up. All ok. But when someone sms or call me, the number is already stored, but it wont show. Why uh ? any idea? |

Just want a confirmation. I hv already download the 3.0(uploaded by david) for my 2g, so i can just update from 2.2 to 3.0 using itunes 8.2.0.23 on windows OS.

a friend of mine restored his iphone 2g with OS3.0, then coming to realize the QuickPwn software cannot accept 3.0 firmware yet.
What can i do to help him ? Tried restoring with fw 2.2.1 itunes giving error, straight tried restoring the fw from QuickPwn, same thing... cannot accept. What to do, phone already in DFU mode. |
