Sorry, noob question on 2.2 upgrade. Mine is a NZ unlocked 3G iphone so I can do it via Itunes Restore (because it is already an unlocked set) or be better off doing it the IClarified way. If I do via itunes, Itunes must be 8.0.2 rite and I will have to JB again? Thanks Bro

Just updated mine to 2.2 and JB. Now in process of downloading all that I lost from Cydia, themes, batteries, etc. etc. Rest is fine with backup. Note that 2.2 does not lag as bad as 2.1. Still playing with it. Thanks to all here who helps, Davidgary, Wilson, Nokia, etc, etc

My only issue after upgrading to 2.2 is that Call Fowarding Active thing whenever u make a call. How to make this dissapear? I also faced this issue before and managed to resolve it but I forgot. Sorry dudes need your help, again my apologies if this had been addressed earlier.

Another question coz I forgot already. For a 3G iphone from NZ bought from Vodafone, 1st thing to do out of the box after you put in the sim card is to connect to Itunes for setup, rite? Sorry dude I did this before for my own 3g set but I forgot. Trying to help activate my friend's daughters' sets. Thanks

U sure? Coz after I put her sim in iphone still show DFU mode. Did not have my lappie for itunes handy then so did not proceed. BTW this is a 3g 8gb iphone fresh out of a Voda store from Christchurch, NZ.

Need help. I reset my 2g 16gb iphone for the purpose of selling it. After reset, only got bitten pineapple, connect to Itunes no response, How ah, pls help. Oredi on 2.2 and jailbroken. Thanks

Restore and unlock again should be the way.
