QUOTE(renesisx @ Sep 15 2008, 08:48 PM) is there any other difference between 32bit and 64bit? the one i know is the 64 one can detect ram for more than 4gb..anything else? 1.faster processing. Correct me if i wrong. (u can refer to those benchmark score from internet. 64bit also get higher score than 32bit)2.use more spaces and duplicate files. the OS itself will separate into 2 program files directory. One is for x64 and one is x86. Everytime u install software that is 32bit, then it will go into C:\Program Files(x86)\..... 3. driver problem.... crash often compare with 32bits 4. 64bit OS support all 32bit applications. But something there will be some 32bit program not work because programmer don't implement it to support 64bit |
