france, belgium, and several are doing worse by the day. watchout for a bearish move on EU...last night's small correction might be a bear flag. Another strong close below 1.4044 will confirm this.

actually it's more like this...
it's back into the consolidation zone in sept at 1.4144 to 1.4044...a rather large zone... personally, i wont go in while it's still inside this zone... oil is on the rise though Added on October 1, 2008, 3:53 pmtotally ugly...sit here for 3 hours...only get a few pips... US congress just has to pass the bill...whether it's string attached or not... This post has been edited by small-jeff: Oct 1 2008, 03:53 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

Very boring. So juz post some chart la... Market so quite
PS: Kelvin you here? Oanda spread as we know is not fixed one, but sometime the spread goes higher than those mt4 broker such as GU EJ pair. GU can goes until 4pips spread while in mt4 only 3pips. Comparing now and thinking apa broker is considered good... This post has been edited by mphpopular: Oct 1 2008, 06:03 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

I am scalping mini gold now...heh....
From the looks of it, DJIA is going to have a bear rally in 4th quarter. Maybe it's expecting an IR cut from Fed. Anyways, i will continue to long euro and gold (buy on dips). |

@mphpopular
yes the spread is not set.. i've seen GU at 5 pip spread for oanda.. EU highest i've seen is 3.0.. its mainly due to the chaotic market now.. before this it was very nice.. low spreads n all.. however i urge u to try a bigger broker.. as u know the new cftc requirement requires all brokers to have net capital of at least 9 million compared to 5 million previously.. another note is Oanda allows u to set most major currencies as ur account currency.. u can use AUD or NZD as they both yield great interest rates and oanda compounds the interest on daily basis.. and when u r trading, the interest is by per second.. Added on October 1, 2008, 7:37 pmanyway.. i wouldn't say oanda is the best.. i use both mt4 and oanda.. mt4 for technical analysis and oanda for trades as the spread is still lower on average basis.. and there is no minimum lots to buy.. u can even buy 1 unit.. however.. to each of his own preference.. i'm a student therefore i do not have enough money to open accounts where fixed lots must be purchased to enter a trade.. oanda suits me based on my capital... weight the pros and cons =) This post has been edited by kelvin_tan: Oct 1 2008, 07:37 PM |
