QUOTE(small-jeff @ Dec 13 2008, 10:25 PM) i've checked on the DJ Stoxx, FTSE, DAX, DJIA and S&P...Technically, i dont see that money is going back to the equity market any soon. My reason for the reversal is based on that yields on US Treasuries will rise, while European government bonds will decline sharply. There is where the money is going, IMO. Although bonds were reported to be higher end of this week, but i think it would only be short-lived. Even if the automakers are saved by Treasuries, the economy outlook still remains weak...and weakening.. kinda agreeHm..dont think commodities will be rising anytime soon. Hedge funds are still losing money, that will keep fund managers away for a while...I still believe there would be an increasing pressure of deflation, rather than inflation for at least another quarter or so. since this financial market we r talking about....then supply and demand is important..... if commodities is to rally....where is the demand coming from when so many company is cutting job, closing factory.....bla bla bla maybe adam is correct on the short term....but in the long term i dont see any reason for commodities to rise This post has been edited by dr2k3: Dec 14 2008, 12:47 AM |

QUOTE(small-jeff @ Dec 14 2008, 11:07 AM) adoi...not to bet lar..but to discuss on how's the market is doing...maybe you could clarify on why you think there will be a rally in equity? to most i could see Dow go is about 9050/9140...that is provided that some good plan came out for the automakers... it is also consider as diff kind of "discuss" |
