my short on EU... it nearly executed another limit order to sell... another 1.5 pips and it would have executed another short and now it went down T_T ... i'm still holding about -25 pips... for the past 5hours.. i'm losing interest here T_T

I dont know much about fxcm.. but i've heard lots of complaints so i've stayed away from that broker..

So what do you recommend for new trader ? Anyway Im still on learning process, now reading on moving averages. I have to make sure Im fully understand and be patience before trading, at least in the future where it comes to real trading I dont rush over things

Depends on everyone's personal needs. Me as a student i need a broker that is flexible because i do not have much capital. I chose oanda because i can buy any units i desire rather than other brokers which the trade sizes are set and not flexible.

If you are into charting.. i suggest MT4 brokers as the platform is great. Whats important is that you dont rush in choosing your broker. Take time to try other brokers on demo and at the same time sharpen ur trading skills.

Kelvin,

Be careful of the huge rally, you want to cover all your short positions. Don't risk it for couple of pips.

Regarding this LONG postion, is it applied for UJ, EJ & GJ?

Nov. 3 (Bloomberg) -- Australian house prices fell, retail sales dropped by the most in three years and job advertisements slid for a sixth month, according to reports today that add to signs the nation's economy is slowing.
Estimated / Forecast retail sales: -0.5%
Actual : -1.1%

Tommorrow Nov 4:
Reserve Bank of Australia going to slash 50points to 5.5%. Wednesday: Trade balance. Thursday: Employment rate.
I think all these datas will contradict to growth. Time to short all the day until end of week.

yea i long too early i thought it will rally tonight.. nvm i'm keeping this position to c how the trade goes.. holding -ve pips but not much.. so mayb it will reverse?

If really wanna hold it for LONGER period. Juz let it goes with -ve pips. Is ok for it.

I shorted EURCAD laz week. and holding -300pips (max). And now I holding +600pips. If for LONG TERM trades, should've some SL which is appropriate.

I still learning how to trade big TF.
