QUOTE(defaultname365 @ Feb 10 2016, 10:48 AM) So Fox managed to pull of a really good Deadpool movie. Their last outing with 'Fantastic Four' was "so-so" (and that's being kind). With the right cast, decent writing and a great director at the helm, it is possible to make a great flick. A sequel is already being planned for Deadpool. A sequel to Fantastic Four (2015) anyone? Hope to watch Deadpool soon. well probably becoz ryan reynold took hold of majority of the movie flow...wanting to make it as close to the comic book possible... it pretty good if u know wat deadpool is talking about majority of the time..hinting possible sequel...hitting on other shows superhero...and his previous work joke

QUOTE(vostroxe @ Feb 11 2016, 08:40 AM) Overrated movie. The best marvel movies? Have you watch Captain America 2? Spider-Man 2? X2? Yes, most people have watched them. What's your point? Their opinions are not valid and yours is? I wouldn't say Deadpool is the best, it is one of the best. Captain 2 is already established, the character was prominent in First Avenger and further exploited in Avengers together with the mass casts of other Marvel movies.

What the F@#$! We watch Deadpool for its vulgarity. If its not vulgar, its not Deadpool. You think this is a Disney Marvel movie.

QUOTE(St0rmFury @ Feb 11 2016, 10:30 AM) Well, there you go. The movie is rated '18'... what are they expecting? Unicorns and rainbows? I also heard parents wanting to bring kids to see this 'superhero' movie only to be told it is '18'. What the heck? Even WITH an 18 rating, we still get the movie (and others too) censored By right '18' = untouched. Even if they do censor a 'PG-13' for some over-the-top scenes that's fine. The mentality... geesh...

Funny thing is that The Revenant is almost fully uncensored, but Deadpool is, almost every graphically violent and sexual part of it.

Overall its an ok movie I think but not those movie that needed to be rewatched over and over again. Moreover the budget for the movie is mid-tier. Aside the wise cracking dick jokes and ultra violence here and there...guess it's serviceable. Maybe just a not a big fan of deadpool due to his characterization, a blatant ripped of DC's Lobo/Gold Booster and Blue Beetle. After awhile those juvenile jokes can get pretty tiring without a good story to back it up. I'm more invested in seeing Tim Miller the film director gonna be doing next or perhaps given enough freehand/money to realize his uber gaming cinematics skill on real life filming. To the uninitiated he is the owner of Blur studio that famous for doing Blizzard's game opening. Also do hope with the success of Deadpool...Tim Miller & David Fincher project "The Goon" able to garner a new lease of life.

Spewing snarky smartass one-liners comes from Keith Giffen's run on JSA and Lobo, what I wrote was characterization and not the look???D'oh!!!!If you want to debate who copy who's look is debatable until cow fall from the moon.

I actually didn't find it that funny even though I was able to get most of the references. I probably only smiled like 1 or 2 times and thats about it. I was told that you will laugh from start to finish but there was hardly any laughing in the hall. I don't know.. I guess I've seen and read most of the funny parts online already. I though the flashback parts were really draggy and boring but overall its still a fun watch especially when Colossus and Warhead are around.
