hmm,maybe depends on the seller/shop u got it from? I had my 3870 rma within a week. had 2 option, wait 1.5months for new stock or top up for 4850.@tech_frix, wah, finally getting ur card ...

not all new games is optimized for multi GPU.
also, not all games is optimized for both SLI & Crossfire, might b 1 of it only.

SLI support is more common den crossfire.................

I think with the recent nvidia card, ati is no longer the king of speed for single setup, I still love my 4850 but sadly ati is now second again... I could be wrong though but from most benchmark that seem to be the case...

well i can only give this at the moment

yes i can feel the double dosage significant changes more than the 3870 as proven in all benchmarks

hey if you can come out with another 100, you can get 4850 from other brands except asus with additional 100 as it is quicker than 3870

may I know what happen to your card, sounds like overheating which is one of the major bad point of ati cards...

sapphire, gecube, gaygaybyte ahem i mean gigabyte, and last but not least asus which is more expensive than the 3

Well, how can that be a bad point of ATI cards? even Nvidia cards to overheat ...remember 1 of their core had manufacturing problem? I don't have heating issues with most of my ATI card's
Asus expensive but to me worthy been an Asus freak lately..been getting asus stuff...lol..
