just bought it a few days ago.
here's wat i got to say abt it...

1st of all, it's really fast compared to non-DIY. u need to adjust the screws, of course.
however, due to its speed(untight screws), the pieces may explode if a turn is not properly executed. for example, (R U R'). even i myself is still adjusting to its pros & cons.

my advice: use little force as possible when u turn & execute a move properly.
and yes, it does produce an annoying sound when turned. i may want to try smooth it with sandpaper someday.

Yes, 5.7cm. Standard size, just like most of the 3x3x3 cube. Quality so so only, try to get in goldleaf... way better than mirror bump cube.

*ps: our goldleaf left one only, and its in unsolve stated (used it to take a picture, but dunno how to put it back) ^^
