got my cubes yesterday.
the only problem is that I have to adapt myself playing the DIY White 3x3x3 type AII.
it's a really major upgrade from my previous glowing 3x3x3.

just bought it a few days ago.
here's wat i got to say abt it...

1st of all, it's really fast compared to non-DIY. u need to adjust the screws, of course.
however, due to its speed(untight screws), the pieces may explode if a turn is not properly executed. for example, (R U R'). even i myself is still adjusting to its pros & cons.

my advice: use little force as possible when u turn & execute a move properly.
and yes, it does produce an annoying sound when turned. i may want to try smooth it with sandpaper someday.
