but i have seen someone put a cool big dragon symbol sticker on the CM Elite side panel, quite nice |

guys, i have this Elite 330 which i wanna add a LED fan in it. but i am still deciding whether to get the Xigmatek fan (orange fins with white LED) or CoolerMaster blue LED fan. only can fit 1 fan at the rear, any suggestion?
and what's the size of the fan? not sure whether it's 12cm or 14cm? |

QUOTE(RegentCid @ Dec 8 2008, 01:00 PM) @KiFuRi will be interested to see the pictures of good cable management for Elite 330 LOl if you dunno how to cable managemnt ..i give you COsmos S still can see cacing around also...LOL you need go cable managemnt threadt see how ppl do..Even they using CM Elite 33X series still can do very very very good cable managemnt Big case does't means your cable management will be good @hehe Ncie cashing there Volts......I think this Casing will be make hard choose between CM590 and this ...heh but CM590 can put more fans i could not route the 24 pin cable from the PSU, the only management i did was to hide all the unused cables in the unused ODD compartments |

it's time to pimp my CM Elite 330 (ok, it's lousy, don't laugh)
anyway, currently planning to get 2 LED fans first, one for the rear chassis, another for the front panel (eh wait, the front panel there, if put LED fan, the light will be visible from outside right?) so is there any recommendations on which fans i should buy? eyeing on 90CFM fans but i read that the LED spoil easily and its not 90CFM and any suggestion on the color theme? go with all blue or all red or all orange or whatever? or all white, using the Xigmatek orange fan with white LED? |

QUOTE(pekies @ Jan 17 2009, 11:29 PM) yeah... XLF rox.. lol and only rm25 if u buy from rockrock buying from CEX as it's nearer to my house and i pass by his shop on the way to my campus i think it died cuz i overstressed it.. lol i fed it with 24v once just to try out, but the led still working after that it just died a few days after. btw that 90cfm if fed with 24v, it will propel itself forward!! just like those delta fans u saw on youtube. hopefully it won't die on me that quick, or do you have any other blue LED fan around that price range to recommend to me? XLF is good but it's white |

just pimped my Elite 330 with 90CFM Blue LED fan at front panel and Xigmatek XLF at rear exhaust. my suggestion to those who wanna pimp their Elite series (those who put on the floor), u can forget about getting a front panel fan, the light is hardly noticeable
btw, the 90CFM fan is like tornado, loud This post has been edited by cyew86: Jan 19 2009, 08:03 PM |

i am planning to install a pair of blue CCFL (AC Ryan Overboost) in my CM Elite 330. but i notice that the top part of the casing has limited area for me to fit in a 30cm tube, any CM Elite 330 user here has any experience installing CCFL on it? and how should i stick the tube onto the casing? would those "plasticine-like" tact do?

[attachmentid=781584]
as per pic, any suggestion on how to make my cable management better? that's the best i could do. can't seem to route the cables to the back of the motherboard [attachmentid=781587] as shown, only have a Xigmatek XLF fan to light up the rig, planning to install a pair of AC Ryan Blue CCFL after CNY, but i am afraid that the upper part of the casing could not fit a 30cm CCFL. any Elite 330 user has any experience in this? [attachmentid=781590] a 90CFM fan at front panel, regret installing it, wasted my money, make my rig as loud as tornado and the blue LED not that apparent |
