Wow, very nicely done CM690. If only the owner did something to the drive there as well, it'll be 100% matching.

Hi guys, I was wondering if there is any way to mount another 12CM in front at the mesh for the drives bays? Looks nice with the HDD bay from CM, but spending that much just to mount a fan err... not so worth it for me la. But maybe is there a special bracket or something that can be bought for it?

Don't know if anyone attempted this before, can the top exhaust of CM690 be mounted outside instead of inside? Cutting away the plastic bits before the metal mesh on top, will a 25cm thickness fit? Thinking of doing this to gain more space inside the case.

Hmm, I'll start by cutting the plastic parts off first and see what I can do about it. That plastic part feels so soft.. err easy to remove one right? Can just use wire cutter?

Really "pek cek" trying to remove the metal mesh. Straighten all the hooks but still can't remove it. Do I need to remove the chrome part first? That one I'm still figuring out how to remove -.-

I give up ._. Broke one of those already. A few more look like it is going to break. Yeah, I adjusted all to straight... only some parts came off. Even straighten those at the IO there. (Those were easy since they're pretty short.)

Well, I sort of colored the "white" color parts due to the broken plastic to black. Not obvious already tongue.gif. Especially when I didn't use blingbling fans on top.

Oh and airflow really increase a lot! Can feel the air now! Back then can't even feel anything =/

doom89757, I would say try to route the cables from PSU to the back and remove clips. It'll give you more space smile.gif.

have to see my budget how first le. besides the case probably i wanna add led fans, might be another rm100 extra. cm590 and cm690 is basically the same only rite? what are the differences?
*
590 don't have intake at the bottom to fit fan. 690 has it. Basically 590 is the "lite" version of 690.

I use molex power for the fans on my CM690, can hide the wires easier, if fit at the motherboard err, going to be messy.

i also interest to CM590 or 690 if i hv more buget..

the price wat i saw frm garage sell, 690-rm245; 590-rm215

690 can put a intake fan at the bottom inside the casing, but this will make dust prob rite? front/top fan will hv simple dust filter..

590 hv big air hole at top, mayb will cos dust prob also,,

hw come say 590 is ''lite'' for 690?? 590 no good kah? hmm.gif
*
The bottom fan doesn't really move much air actually, there is filter for the bottom one as well. CM690 has holes for mounting fans on top just like the CM590.

I'm using 14cm on the top as exhaust. When the top piece isn't fitted on, can actually hear a bit of vibrations lol. But when I put back the top piece, it is alright already. Only wind noise.

590, 690 and 932 are sorta budget casings ma. Cosmos are on a different level from these, the finishing is much better. Wonder how much that black one would cost. Looks real neat with all black color.
