Err, google GTFO for it. You won't want him typing it out here LOL!

V8 is pretty damn huge, one reason I got a tower HSF is because I wanted to fit fans on top of my CM690. Would have gone for the KillerWhale instead of it if it wasn't that huge.

Err, I'm not using V8. Using CCF tongue.gif. Performance wise I don't know if V8 or CCF is better smile.gif.

And your pic... wow...!

Looks pretty tight on the top. Like no space @@. Unless you want to DIY to fit it outside the cage which one of the forumers here did before. Some cutting is involved though.

Casing : CM690

Uber noob questions :
01. How many 120mm fans can be fit in CM690? At where? Intake or exhaust? (so the answer should be like "top 2x 120mm" "back 1x 120mm" and etc.)
02. Should I place any fan on the bottom part? If yes, should it be intake or exhaust?
03. Should I place any fan on the side panel? If yes, should it be intake or exhaust?

Thanks in advance.

1 at the back, 2 on top (can hold 140mm as well), one at the side panel (2 for the non window), 1 at the hdd bay, 1 at the bottom. So it is 6 for the window version and 7 for the non window version.

Bottom use it as intake, cold air goes down. But a lot dust.. so I didn't put any for mine.

Side panel I used 140mm intake to blow my GC.

This was what I did with mine, I used the filter for the bottom and locked it at the side using one of those panels. I lose the fan below, well it was attracting dust like nobody's business so I decided to not mount a fan below instead.

I think his cable management has to be real tight, else the wires will be flying around inside due to a tornado caused by the Deltas tongue.gif.

How's the noise like? I see you have another Delta on the bottom.

I just bought the cm 690 and I find the power and reset button to be kinda crap. Is this normal or do I have a bad case?

Everything else about the case rocks though.

Hard to push? Put sideways instead of directly.
